 Overview

This Simulator has been developed to aid with the instruction, training, and practice of vital NG tube and tracheal care skills. The simulator is also designed for instruction of gastric care procedures through nasal and oral access.

Anatomy

• It has the anatomical parameters of a normal adult:

1 . The first stenosis of the esophagus is 15cm away from the central incisor.

2 . The second stenosis of the esophagus is 25cm away from the central incisor.

3 .  The third stenosis of the esophagus is 40cm away from the central incisor.                  4  .The length of the gastric tube reaching the gastric body can reach 45-55cm.

• It can realize three detection methods to confirm that the gastric tube is in the stomach after the intubation is completed:

1 . The end of the gastric tube is connected to a syringe, and gastric juice is drawn out.

2 .  Put the stethoscope on the stomach, inject 10m of air quickly from the end of the stomach tube with a syringe, and you can hear the sound of air passing through the water.

3 . Put the end of the gastric tube into the treatment bowl filled with water, and check whether there are bubbles overflowing from the gastric tube. If no bubbles overflow, it means that the gastric tube is in the stomach.

 Realism

1. It has flexible simulated skin, which feels real and elastic to the touch.

2.It can take the supine position or the supine position without the pillow.

5.The head and neck of It can realize the range of motion and movement of the real human body. The head can be tilted back and flexed. When the intubation reaches 10-15cm (at the throat), the head can be raised close to the sternum, which is convenient for intubation.

6.The bilateral nostrils of it is unobstructed, and can be used for intubation training.

 Cleaning

• Clean the simulator with a damp cloth, using warm water and neutral detergent. Do not use any abrasive cleaning agents or materials.
• Allow trainer to completely dry before storing.
• Keep away from sunshine.
