 Overview

This model simulates a 5-year-old child, featuring realistic anatomical structures, including clear bony landmarks, flexible joints, and distinct puncture path levels. It is specifically designed for pediatric thoracentesis training with simulated pleural effusion.

Anatomy

•  Flexible skin, subcutaneous, and muscle tissues provide realistic touch and elasticity for pediatric training.
•  A complete skeletal structure with accurate bony landmarks represents the anatomy of a 5-year-old child.
•  The flexible joints allow positioning for thoracentesis in various body orientations.

 Realism

• Both sides of the model enable fluid thoracentesis training. Successful puncture on the left side extracts pale yellow simulated pleural effusion, while the right side produces red simulated bloody pleural effusion.
• Realistic tactile feedback during puncture procedures ensures accurate pediatric training.

 Cleaning

Wipe the simulator with a damp cloth using warm water and neutral detergent.
Avoid abrasive cleaning agents and materials.
Ensure the model is dry before storing and keep it away from direct sunlight to prolong its lifespan.
