 Overview

The model simulates the lower abdomen and pelvis in adult males with true-to-life size and texture of genitals and perineum. It facilitates the practice of catheterization. The trainer meets the guidelines for preventing CAUTI through teaching aseptic insertion techniques. Trainees can experience actual resistance and pressure during simulation. Internal bladder reservoir for standard catheterization exercises.

• The penis can be adjusted to make an angle of 60° with abdomen, easy to insert catheter.
• An external fluid bag provides simulated urine, using non-return valve technology to ensure that the catheter is removed without leakage.

Instead of external fluid bag, built-in fluid reservoir(600ml) can provide simulated urine for multiple trainees’ demand.

• Gas or liquid can be input into the simulated bladder to make it inflation so that the catheter can be fixed after the catheterization. After output the gas or liquid during extubation, gently pull the catheter without resistance.

 Cleaning

• Drain all fluid from the product when not in use.
• Clean the simulator with a damp cloth, using warm water and neutral detergent. Do not use any abrasive cleaning agents or materials.
• Allow trainer to completely dry before storing.
• Keep away from sunshine.

 Operation guidance

Turn on the power, the red light turns on, in case no liquid in the internal simulated bladder, trainee will hear the water pump works. Water pumping can be automatically stop when reservoir full. (Figure below). Use the the 50ml springe to water in reservoir until amount of 600ml.
