 Overview

This puncture training model realistically simulates the entire lumbar puncture process using advanced polymer materials. It is positioned laterally, allowing for effective support during procedures.

Anatomy

The model features accurate lumbar Anatomie, including L1-L5 vertebrae, sacrum, sacral hiatus, and key ligaments. Palpable landmarks, such as the posterior superior iliac spine and thoracic vertebrae, facilitate precise localization.

 Realism

The model supports lumbar anesthesia, lumbar puncture, and various nerve blocks.
Users feel realistic resistance when puncturing the ligamentum flavum.
A release sensation occurs upon entering the epidural space.
A second release sensation indicates entry into the subarachnoid space.
The model simulates the flow of cerebrospinal fluid.

 Cleaning

Clean with a damp cloth and neutral detergent; avoid abrasives.  
Allow to dry completely before storing and keep out of direct sunlight.  
Skin and simulated spinal cavities are replaceable, and consumables are supplied.
